I. The Continuum

Nothing disappears without becoming something else.

Energy does not vanish; it changes form.
Matter does not disappear; it transforms.

The atoms in your hand were forged in stars
that died before the Earth was made.

The water you drink has moved through clouds, rivers, oceans,
and other bodies before yours.

You are made of things older than the planet you stand on.

We are shaped by what came before us,
and we shape what comes after us.

The Continuum is existence
moving through space and time.

Matter changes form.
Time moves forward.

The same is true of what you do.
Actions become history.
Consequences move outward.

Nothing exists in isolation.
Nothing happens without entering what comes next.

The past remains real.
The future remains unwritten.

And for a brief, beautiful moment within that unfolding,
you are here,
a wildflower among many.

Time is not something you pass through.

You are time, briefly taking shape.
A movement that for now is you.

And what that movement leaves behind
is what continues.

The Continuum is not a god.
It is not fate.
It is not a consciousness that watches.
It does not judge.
It simply continues.
